A total of 32 positions are available on a fixed-term contract basis across various zones in India. The vacancies are distributed as follows:
- Project Engineer on Contract (PE-C): 14 posts
- Technical Officer on Contract (TO-C): 8 posts
- Assistant Project Engineer on Contract (APE-C): 3 posts
- Senior Artisan on Contract (SA-C): 7 posts
Age and Education Qualification
Project Engineer (PE-C): B.E./B.Tech with minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST) in relevant engineering disciplines and at least 3 years of post-qualification experience.
Technical Officer (TO-C): B.E./B.Tech with minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST) in specified streams and at least 1 year of post-qualification experience.
Assistant Project Engineer (APE-C): Diploma with minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST) in relevant fields and at least 1 year of post-qualification experience.

Senior Artisan (SA-C): ITI pass in relevant trades and minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience.
Project Engineer: Maximum 33 years for UR category.
Technical Officer, Assistant Project Engineer, Senior Artisan: Maximum 30 years for UR category.
Age relaxation applies for OBC (3 years), SC/ST (5 years), PwBD (additional 10 years), and J&K domicile candidates (5 years).
Salary Details
Selected candidates will receive consolidated monthly emoluments as per the contract year:
- Project Engineer: ₹40,000 (Year 1), ₹45,000 (Year 2), ₹50,000 (Year 3), ₹55,000 (Year 4) plus a one-time attire allowance of ₹8,400.
- Technical Officer: ₹25,000 (Year 1), ₹28,000 (Year 2), ₹31,000 (Years 3 & 4).
- Assistant Project Engineer: ₹25,506 per month.
- Senior Artisan: ₹23,368 per month.
Benefits include medical insurance reimbursement, Provident Fund, and TA/DA as per rules.
