Age and Education Qualification
Age Limit: Scientist – 32 years, Senior Scientist – 37 years (as on 10.12.2025). Age relaxation as per Govt rules.
Qualification: Scientist requires M.E./M.Tech or Ph.D. Senior Scientist requires M.E./M.Tech with experience or Ph.D. with post-doctoral experience in relevant disciplines.
Salary Details
Scientist: Level 11, Basic Pay ₹67,700, Total Emoluments approx. ₹1,26,900/month
Senior Scientist: Level 12, Basic Pay ₹78,800, Total Emoluments approx. ₹1,46,770/month
