Vacancy Details
A total of 13591 vacancies are announced for Police Sub-Inspector (PSI) and Lokrakshak (Constable) posts. This includes positions in Unarmed, Armed, SRPF, and Jail departments.
Age and Education Qualification
Educational Qualification:
For PSI Cadre: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
For Lokrakshak Cadre: Higher Secondary Certificate (12th Pass) or equivalent.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 33 years as on the crucial date. Age relaxation is applicable as per Gujarat Government rules for reserved categories.
Salary Details
Selected candidates will receive a salary as per the 7th Pay Commission. Police Sub-Inspector (PSI) posts fall under Pay Level 5 (₹29,200 – ₹92,300). Police Constable posts fall under Pay Level 3 (₹21,700 – ₹69,100).
