- Constable (Veterinary): 18 to 27 years
- Constable (Driver) – Male: 18 to 27 years
- Constable (Gardener, Water Carrier, Cobbler, Tailor, Washerman, Barber, Waiter): 18 to 23 years
- Constable (Carpenter): 18 to 25 years
- Constable (Nursing Orderly): 18 to 27 years
Educational and professional qualifications are post-specific and must be from recognised boards/ITI/Institutes.
- Constable (Veterinary): 10th pass with Science subject and 1 year animal treatment experience.
- Constable (Driver) – Male: 10th pass and valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence.
- Constables (Gardener, Water Carrier, Cobbler, Tailor, Washerman, Barber, Waiter): Matriculation plus trade experience or ITI certificate/diploma.
- Constable (Carpenter): Matriculation plus trade experience or ITI certificate/diploma.
- Constable (Nursing Orderly): 10th pass, First Aid certificate, and 1 year hospital experience.
Salary Details
All SSB Constable posts are placed in Pay Level-3 (₹21,700–69,100) of the 7th Central Pay Commission.
In addition to basic pay, Constables receive Dearness Allowance, Ration Money Allowance, House Rent Allowance and other admissible allowances. They are covered under government pension schemes for new central government entrants.
Application Fees
UR, EWS and OBC category candidates must pay an examination fee of ₹100 through online payment methods.
SC, ST, Ex-Serviceman and female candidates are exempted from payment of examination fees.
Applications submitted without successful online fee payment (where applicable) will be rejected.
