Age and Education Qualification
Maximum 35 years as on 04-09-2026. Relaxation: SC/ST: 5 years, OBC: 3 years, PH: As per Govt. rules, In-service DST candidates: up to 5 years.
M.Sc. or equivalent with first division in Biosciences, Geology, Physics, Chemistry, or allied Earth Science discipline with 3 years research experience, OR Ph.D. in relevant discipline.
Salary Details
Pay Level 10 (7th CPC) with usual allowances as per Institute rules. New Pension Scheme applicable. Probation period of 2 years.

General/OBC/EWS: Rs. 1,000/- (via Demand Draft only). SC/ST/PH/Women: No fee. Candidates who applied under Advt. No. BSIP/S&A/02/2023: No fee.
