HPCL invites applications for 612 Graduate Apprentice Trainee positions across four engineering disciplines:

Positions are distributed across all Indian states and union territories, with Maharashtra having the highest allocation of 114 posts.

Age and Education Qualification

Engineering graduation in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation streams completed after April 1, 2023.

  • General/OBC-NC category: Minimum 60% aggregate marks
  • SC/ST/PwBD category: Minimum 50% aggregate marks
  • General category: 18 to 25 years
  • SC/ST: 5 years relaxation
  • OBC: 3 years relaxation
  • PwBD: Additional relaxation as per category

Salary Details

Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹25,000 during the one-year apprenticeship training period.

How to Apply

HPCL Apprentice – Steps to Apply (Last Date: 02.03.2026)

  1. Register on the NATS 2.0 portal and make sure your registration is approved by BOAT. Without BOAT approval, your HPCL application will not be considered.
  2. Go to http://jobs.hpcl.co.in/Recruit_New/recruitlogin.jsp and click on “Sign up for New Registration” to create your HPCL account. Check your email for login details sent by HPCL.
  3. Log in to the HPCL portal using the email ID and password received. Submit only one application, as multiple applications will be rejected.
  4. Select your Engineering Branch from the dropdown list: Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation.
  5. Fill in all mandatory personal details correctly, validate the details, and proceed to the next section.
  6. Enter your correspondence address, permanent address, and contact number. Select only one State of Training preference and proceed after validation.
  7. Fill in your engineering qualification details and enter the total aggregate percentage of all semesters or years. If you have CGPA or GPA, convert it into percentage as per your university rules and keep the conversion certificate ready for verification.
  8. Upload your recent passport-size photograph and signature in the required format.
  9. Preview the entire application carefully and ensure all details match your certificates exactly. Make corrections if needed before final submission.
  10. Read the declaration, accept it, and click on “Final Submit.” You will receive your HPCL Application Number by email.
  11. Keep checking your registered email regularly for further updates, as all communication will be sent only through email or SMS.
  12. If shortlisted, be ready with your engineering degree certificate, all semester mark sheets, CGPA to percentage conversion certificate if applicable, category certificate in prescribed format if applicable, and other supporting documents for document verification.
